Convert a 2D line shape into a Board Outline
Cannot convert an open 2D line into a closed Board Outline

PADS VX.2.2 and later
If the error message: "You cannot convert an open 2D Line into a closed Board Outline" appears, this indicates that the 2D Line shape is not a closed shape. The 2D Line shape must be a single, closed polygon shape.
Note: Users can close the shape using the Join and Close commands in PADS Layout.
Note: Only one Board Outline on the board is allowed. Once a Board Outline exists in the design the selection in the drop-down menu will change to Board Outline Cutout so 2D Line shapes can be changed to board cutouts.
